Suigetsu has an attitude and he'll let you know what he's thinking about you at hatt time, and most likely, he’ll be blunt about it, too. He doesn’t like very many people, and even if he does like you, he’ll still be rude towards you, especially if you like to try and order him around. People don’t approach him often, and he makes a point not to approach many people in the same way. He'd prefer to do his own thing anyway, and will come off as rude or nasty when he is being ‘social’ (although most just get ignored). He has a tendency to get on people's bad sides quickly, and doesn't like working on teams. He's impressed by someone who has strength but wouldn't ever follow someone blindly who had it. Suigetsu doesn't consider himself a follower -- but more of someone who will work with others for the good of himself. He does have a slight code though, he doesn't like owing people favors, and will repay them as quickly as possible. He's egotistical, and thinks he is strong (he’d say he knows he is, though). He loves to fight and will never run from one. And he loves to be entertained by people. Everyone seems to amuse him. But that doesn't mean he likes you.

[[ BIOGRAPHY ]]

Suigetsu was born and raised by his father in Tokyo, Japan. His mother’s whereabouts for the majority of his life have been unknown, which should have been a far more devastating fact to him than it really was. He grew up near the Akihabara district, the central part of Tokyo that specializes in technology, and he liked it. He spent a huge amount of time surrounded by the technologically advanced, but pretty much found more joy in watching everyone else do things with it, and perhaps making fun of them. He's computer literate, that's enough for him.

He was about seven when he took up Kung-Fu and started to study it in a small private studio in Tokyo. He quickly grew in it, and then started to train himself on the sword, as there was a rare few that actually knew how to use it well where he did study. He has not gone a day without training in the form of martial arts. He strongly favors a dependence on brutality, and the teachers at the schools where he taught thought he was quite good at them, too.

When he started school, he became a problem. He didn’t like to listen to teachers or do assignments…or even really attend class. He ended up falling behind greatly on his studies and was always at least a year behind those the same age as he was. His father was really too lax on him, he was never punished for his behaviors, and sometimes he was actually rewarded for it. So it became something rather ingrained in him to do what he want and he could reap the rewards for it. He started to learn English at a younger age, and became masterful at it, and found it fun to use it on other students and teachers who weren’t as fluent as he was with the language. He always found it fun to insult someone in a language that they didn’t know.

But, the Japanese education system really hated him. Enough to suggest to his father to dump him in another country instead. With that, he was eventually transferred over to the USA here he has been traveling around (both finishing high school and starting University in the States) for the past couple years. He’s very well traveled, and will continued seeing the states until he was forced to fall into the system once again. To him, traveling and being in San Francisco is just another temporary adventure.

Suigetsu is a trained swordsman, and he has studied various forms of martial arts. His styles tend to be aggressive, and he likes the Chinese types of martial arts especially things along the lines of the Kung Fu in the Five Animal styles of it. His motions are very liquid, and he moves fast. He likes to feign moves, and he won't bring his sword to an 'honorable' (fist) fight, but he sure as hell knows how to use it, and will without hesitance if he has to. His preferred types are Snake and Leopard which are rooted in speed and flow of the motion. It eliminates a lot of unnecessary stuff, and the purpose of it is to strike not defend. As a result, though, his defensive tactics lack, and blocking is something he hasn’t become an expert at. (As in the one of the styles, there is rarely any defensive moves used at all, and it works purely on a dodge and hit.) He just hopes he’s lucky and can dodge someone instead.
